Oooh can we get the deets and maybe a close up pic of the necklace? It looks super cool!
I think Hallie Lord swears by Danskos? I've never owned a pair, but like Cat, I've heard nurses and waiters etc. swear by them. I just feel like I couldn't make them fashionable! Kuddos to you for pulling it off! Have you ever worn them with anything besides pants - like a shorter hemline? I just feel like it would look awkward on me - it probably looks great on someone tall and slender like you!
I will try to get a pic of the necklace soon. It's a combo of 2 necklaces put together.
I have to admit that I'm pretty bad at keeping up with Hallie Lord's blog, so I'm not sure what her take on them is. I do know that a lot of nurses and other folks on their feet all day love them. I originally got them when I was working in a chem lab which meant I had to be on my feet all day too oddly enough. I have worn them or their sister brand, Sanita, with skirts before, but I'm not sure that I follow all the shoe rules when it comes to skirts. I'll have to try out an outfit on here some Sunday to see what you all think of it.
Love the maroon/red/burgundy shirt! Tons. You are rockin' it!
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about Dansko shoes! Apparently a lot of people who work on their feet (cashiers and the like) swear by them.
